POTIONSELLER releases new EP

Grand Rapids’ own Potionseller are all grown up and just dropped their debut album on PNWK Records. This five-song EP takes us on a journey of growth, acceptance, and longing for the hot days and long nights on the road of a touring band.

Emotional anthems like ‘One More Photo’ remind all of us that some of our worst times end up being our best of times. With songwriter and lead vocalist Austen Reno reminiscing, “'One More Photo' is about the (often difficult) reality of touring as a DIY band, but missing every second of it when it's over," says the band about the song. "Every story in the song is true - broken down on tour 300 miles from home in Aliquippa, PA. with no money, which meant having to cancel shows and drum up enough cash for a cheap motel, warm whiskey in the streets of a neighborhood outside of Austin, TX. All of it. Though these times were some of the toughest, and they were some of the best. I wish I would've taken one more photo.”

Repeat-worthy tracks like ‘Faster’ ‘Monarchs Club’ and ‘Natty Ice’ round out the album and set the stage for the high-energy ‘Love Island’ featuring guest vocals from Homesafe’s Tyler Albertson.

PNWK Records co-founders Robert and Samantha Bowling recall ‘The first time we heard the guys play, we fell in love. We knew they were heading somewhere special and we wanted to support them on that journey. The results of that have been nothing short of incredible. We’re so excited to have these guys and this album as staple of our label.”
